Ir. Prof. Dr. Chang Yoong Choon is a seasoned academic leader with extensive expertise in electrical and electronic engineering, research development, and innovation. He currently serves as Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at UTAR’s Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science, and as Director of the XDU-UTAR Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation.
Dr. Chang’s work spans curriculum leadership, research strategy, and cross-institution collaboration in engineering and technology fields. He is actively involved in advancing engineering education, research governance, and industry-academic partnerships. His leadership supports the development of future-ready engineers equipped for technological innovation in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Hudyjaya Siswoyo Jo

Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Hudyjaya Siswoyo Jo is an expert in robotics, automation, and digital transformation with a strong academic and research background. He leads the Centre for Digital Futures at Swinburne University of Technology (Sarawak Campus), where he focuses on advancing technologies and frameworks that bridge intelligent systems with real-world applications.
His academic work spans robotics and mechatronics, smart manufacturing systems, and emerging digital technologies, contributing to research, industry engagement, and curriculum development that supports the next generation of engineers and technologists.
Dr. Hudyjaya holds advanced degrees in engineering and is actively involved in research, collaboration networks, and initiatives that shape the future of digital and automated systems in both academic and industrial contexts.
Head of Malaysian Smart Factory 4.0, Selangor Human Resource Development Centre (SHRDC)
Ts. Dr. Chua Wen-Shyan leads the Malaysian Smart Factory 4.0 initiative at the Selangor Human Resource Development Centre, a centre focused on talent development and digital transformation in manufacturing. His expertise lies in control and automation systems, fault detection and identification (FDI), and predictive maintenance strategies — core technologies driving Industry 4.0 adoption.
In his role, Dr. Chua oversees high-impact competency-based programs designed to upskill Malaysia’s workforce in smart factory technologies, preparing professionals for the evolving demands of digital manufacturing. He has also been involved in broader industry initiatives supporting sustainable and digitally enabled industrial transformation.
Dr. Chua holds a Ph.D. in Control Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics from Monash University Malaysia, and is active in professional networks focused on automation and Industry 4.0 advancements.

Dr. Lee has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with deep expertise in operations management, talent development, quality management, and organisational transformation.
He previously led Infineon Technologies’ largest manufacturing site in Melaka, overseeing approximately 9,000 employees, where he achieved a 30% increase in production output while maintaining controlled headcount growth. He also successfully led major operational and workforce transformations to meet global customer requirements.
Prior to this, Dr. Lee held senior leadership roles at NXP Semiconductors and National Semiconductor, including leading the startup of a new manufacturing facility in Suzhou, China.
Dr. Lee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (USA), an MBA from the University of Strathclyde (UK), and was conferred an Honorary Doctorate in Engineering by Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM).
